Make your own face mask from ingredients that you may have In your kitchen. Try any of the following Ideas:
� Whisk 1 tablespoon of plain yogurt with a few drops of sesame oil. Apply the mixture to your face, throat end upper chest and leave it on for 15 minutes.
� Mash a banana and mix in a little bit of honey. Apply the mixture to your skin for 15 minutes.
� combine 2 tablespoons mashed avocado, 1/4 cup whipping cream, 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil and 1 teaspoon of calendula petals. Leave the mixture on your face for 15 minutes before rinsing it off.
� Peel a mango and mash the flesh. Apply the pulp to your face and leave it on for a few minutes to clean and tighten your pores. Then, rinse it off.
FOR GLOWING SKIN
Add glow to your face by making a pack of gram flour (besan) with turmeric, lemon drops and some milk cream (malai).
Another way to add radiance to your skin is by mixing orange peel with ground pink daal (masoor ki daal) and a little bit or honey or curd. This will not only give your skin a glow but also exfoliate it.
TO CURE DANDRUFF
If dandruff is what is troubling you, then soak methi seeds ovemight in water and then grind them into a paste. Apply this on your scalp and leave it for a few hours and then wash your hair with either shikakai or shampoo.
FOR SILKY HAIR
Mix a few drops of honey in your olive oil and then massage it well into your hair. keep it for half-an-hour before rinsing it off with a mild shampoo.
You can also take curd (dahi) and mix an egg yolk in it, mix it well and then apply on your locks. This zis good for silky smooth hair and it also conditions it well. Using shikakai also helps to get lustrous locks. (Read: Haircare tips for the monsoon)
