CHNC challenge extra for June 2016

Please click here to see the winner of CHNC challenge extra for May.

It's worth looking because it might be you!

This challenge will last for the whole month of June 2016 - anything goes as long as it's Christmas - it doesn't have to be a card, you can link any project as long as it's Christmas!

It's quite scary that we are already almost halfway between Christmas 2015 and Christmas 2016 ... so it certainly isn't too early to get going with those Christmas designs. I know that many of my followers have been making festive cards throughout the year and will be thankful for doing so when it gets nearer to Christmas. If you haven't yet started, now is a good time and we hope you will join in with the challenge - you can enter as many times as you wish with anything ... as long as it's Christmas.

Once again this year, all of these monthly challenges are being generously sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps - a winner will be randomly chosen using random.

Bugaboo Stamps are proud to sponsor this challenge - they are offering $21 of digital stamps to the randomly selected winner.

Everything That You Ever Wanted to Know About Bugaboo Stamps: A Short Essay
As if raising five children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge, Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadian toes into the world of papercrafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. That was two years ago. Today Bugaboo Stamps is one of the leading companies in digital images, and we're still growing!  From seriously snarky to sugary sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create your paper projects.  Jodie works very hard to provide New Releases and Freebies every week!
If your taste runs to rubber (and you know who you are), you can find Bugaboo Stamps   at Totally Stampalicious. And finally, join the Bugaboo Stamps DT   for weekly challenges at Catch the Bug

Here are the delightful designs of the team
All digital stamps used were kindly supplied by our sponsor, Bugaboo Stamps:

Using Christmas girl presents

You may add any Christmas creation for this challenge - it's 'anything goes' every month, as long as it's Christmas

There really aren't any rules as such - just have a look at what I've written on the right hand sidebar and join in! You may link as many entries as you like as long as they weren't blogged before 1 June 2016.

Weekly challenges continue on my CHNC challenge blog - these usually have a theme - but anything that you enter there can be entered here as well, so you increase your chance of winning a prize.

And, of course, you can chat about this monthly challenge extra blog on the CHNC facebook page as well - if you haven't joined that yet, please follow the link and 'like' the page.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge - please add a link to your blog post (not your blog, but the actual URLwhere your creation can be found) by 20:00 UK time 30 June.  Please mention my blog and create a link within the post for your creation. The winner will be announced at 23:00 UK  time on 30 June.  July's challenge will begin at midnight UK time on 1 July 2016.

Please add your link to inlinkz. If  by any chance it disappears, please leave a comment with the link to your blog post and I will make sure it is added.

If you haven't done so already, please become a follower and grab my bright pink button to post on your sidebar and help continue to spread the word about this challenge blog - thank you.

I also run a challenge blog called Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge - anything goes as long as you use some patterned paper - a randomly chosen prize winner every month. Please click on the link to find out more. If you have used patterned paper for your Christmas creation, why not enter it there too. And please be aware that the Patterned Paper Challenge is not restricted to Christmas - it is for any occasions as long as some patterned paper has been used.

Thank you for your support
I look forward to seeing your entries

Advice for Ramadan - Things you should not do in Ramadan

Advice for Ramadan

Advice for Ramadan - Things you should not do in Ramadan

1. Don't sleep during the day and pray all night. By doing this you are converting the day into night and the night into day, which is not the purpose of fasting.

2. Avoid being lazy and inactive during the day.

3. Don't waste time playing games during the day. Rather, please Allah by increasing in your worship of him.

4. Avoid having too much iftar parties. Ramadan wasn;t meant to be a food extravaganza.

5. Don't ask your wife to spend Ramadan in the kitchen. Eat something light and quick- she isn't biryani woman.

6. Spend the last 10 days worshipping Allah rather than trying to prepare for Eid. A day that is better than a thousand months is in these last 10 days. You can't afford to miss this.

7. Don't stay awake the full night. Your body has a right over you, and when it wants to rest, then rest.

8. Avoid excessive socialising after Taraweeh.

9. Avoid shopping a lot in Ramadan.

10. Don't eat the full night.

11. Don't loiter around at night rather than worshipping Allah.

12. Eid doesn't require loads of preparation. Don't fall into this trap. Keep it simple, and it will be blessed.

May we witness this forthcoming Ramadan with sound health.
Ameen.

Atbaf abrak nazam zang lag jaata ha mohabbat ko

Atbaf abrak nazam zang lag jaata ha mohabbat ko
zang lag jaata ha mohabbat ko
Kyun ye jazbaat marne lagtay hain

Jin pe hum jan kabhi detay thy
Kyun wo anjaan lagnay lagtay hain

Har us aadat pe humko ranjish ho
Kabhi jin aadton pe martay thy

Baat har ek wohi puraani ha
Phir kyun lehjay naye naye se hain

Samnay hain sabhi wohi manzar
Kyun faraq sab dikhai deta hay

Kabhi socha k raaz kya is main
Kabhi socha k kyun ye hota ha

Kyun taluq ye bojh bantay hain
Kyun mohabbat ye rog lagti hay

Wo jo gulzaar ban k miltay thy
Ab kyun bezaar ho k jeetay hain

Haan mohabbat hi roop badlay ha
Ye taluq hi, dhang badlay hay

Jaisay bin istamal shay koi
Apna rung ya huliya badlay hai

Jaise dheemak c isko kha jaye
Bad shakal, daghdar ho jaye

Koi phal daar pairr bhi jaise
Be dheyani se sookh sa jaye

Yahi kuch haal ha mohabbat ka
Ye bhi har dam khyal chahti ha

Hum na iska khyal rakhain tou
Apnay andar hi mar c jaati hai

Lagy kaai zada c shay hay koi
Dekhna bhi jissay muhaal lagy

Bari be-rung c dikhai de
Jaisay ek boo c is main parr jaye

Zara afsos se isay dekhain
Phaink dain phir isay hamesha ko

Humain ehsaas bhi na ho paaye
Aur sab haath se nikal jaye

Jaisay sheesha kabhi na jurr paye
Waqat bhi loat kar nahi aye

So ye ab faisla tumhara ha
Is ko rakhna ha ya ganwana ha

Jaisay machli ko jal zaroori ha
Is mohabbat ko dil zaroori hay

Ye sirf zinda dil main reh paye
Ghum sabhi saath mil k seh jaye

Par jo dil se isay nikalo ge
Tum se ye intaqam bhi le gi

Isko bhulo ge ye bhulaye gi
Isko maaro ge maar daly gi

-Atbaf Abrak
