Hiya, my name is Margaret but I do prefer to be called Marg and I'm 54 years old. Ive been crafting for most of my life. I have 2 daughters, the eldest is married & lives a few miles away. She's given me a fab son-in-law and two gorgeous grandsons. My youngest daughter is 18 and studying hard at college, in her 3rd year of Art & Design.

I am quite severely disabled but I craft to keep my hands and mind occupied and it works lol. I love digi stamps but I also like rubber stamps. I have no special artist that I prefer and I have no special style of design. My serious card making/papercraft/upcycling came into effect almost 6 years ago and I've not looked back. I am honoured to be invited to join Hazel and all the other DT members of this fabulous challenge blog.

My name is Monica and I live in Italy. I graduated in English literature a long ago and, after working in a big Company for years, I decided to become a stay-at-home-mom. After years of painting, back in 2008 I tried with papercrafts and stamps and I�ve never looked back! I first used watercolour pencils because Copics were not available in my town but now they are my favourite coloring medium. I'm so happy to be on the team here at CraftyHazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra!





I have been a crafter all my life - I enjoy all sorts of crafts but my current passion is paper crafting. At the moment I live in the UK but for the previous 17 years I have been an expat, living in Australia, Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi and India. Whilst overseas I always managed to find friends who also wanted to craft! Now back in England I spend a lot of time in my craft room. I like to play with different techniques, making both mainstream items and more left of centre projects. I use a lot of digi images but also like getting inky�and I love different folds, ATCs and fat pages! My intention every year is to make all my Christmas cards before I get to November � and every year I run late! I am hoping to catch up this year soon!!

Successful relationships  rely on strong faith. Gaining a person's trust is not an easy task and can take a long time. If you too want to become a trustworthy person, behave like one. Here is what you need to do.

Always do what you say: Gaining the trust of a person by saying that you will do something for him has become very common these days. Making a promise to do something is not a bad thing, but not keeping it could be one. Whether it is a small thing or task, you should do it at any cost. When you say something and never do it, people lose their faith in you and think twice before trusting you again.

Speak Truth: If you wish to become a trustworthy person in life, be honest first. No individual would ever trust a person who is a liar. Speaking false things or lies is not a good way to represent your life or yourself in front of others.

Never reveal anyone's secrets: A trustworthy person would never disclose what others say and share with him. Furthermore, exposing someone else's secrets to another person is the worst thing that you can do to an individual who trusts you. When you do so, it is treachery of trust.

Make a promise only if you can complete it: When you break somebody's trust, it is not at all an easy thing to gain it back or build it again. Moreover, doing so can deeply hurt the feelings of that person who believes you. If you are feeling sorry for what you did and again want to gain the trust of the same person, apologize to him and promise that you will not repeat the same again.

Renowned actress Amala Paul has found success at an early age, and was looking to fulfill her heart's desire for companionship when director Vijay became part of her life . The couple, who met on the sets of Tamil film Daiva Thirumagal, have been dating for nearly three years. Typifying their modest aspirations or the impending celebrations, their engagement ceremony was a simple affair, which took place at St Jude Church, Aluva, in Kerala in early June. The wedding, which took place on the 12th of June, was itself a traditional South Indian affair. On her big day, Amala looked ravishing, showing no signs for stress unlike many other brides, thanks to the well-planned arrangements made by her carefully selected team. Amala had donned a lovely bright red Kanjivaram sari, pairing it well with elegant diamond accessories, while Vijay looked dapper in a white dhoti and shirt. The private affair was attended only by close family and friends. Easing into the married life. they decided to throw a grand reception for all their colleagues and well-wishers at the Mayo Ramanathan Chettiar Hall.
The couple promoted their mutual belief in higher good by sincerely requesting all their near and dear ones to refrain from bringing gifts, an instead, asked them to donate to the Ability foundation.
At t e reception, the venue looked beautiful with meticulous arrangements made for lighting and the drapes that adorned the stairway and entrance.
The stage created the perfect magic for the evening, decked entirely in white and red. Festooned with white flowers and hanging white crystals, the setting itself looked like a scene from a fairy tale!
Security arrangements ensured that their fraternity friends met and greeted the couple without much delay or commotion. The evening saw a long list of celebrities who walked in to greet the newlywed couple. Veterans like K Balachandar, Vairamuthu, Gangai Amaran, Senthil and Sivakumar were amongst others who blessed the couple. A repertoire of young talented actors like Jeeva, Karthi, Vijay, G V Prakash, Suchitra, Siddharth, Vijay Yesudas, Shaam, Lakshmi Rai and Janani Iyer were also in attendance. Amala glowed in a flowing golden shimmer dress, designed by master couturier Sabyasachi Mukherjee. As a contrast, she accessorized with minimal jewellery and sported a sideswept hairdo. The groom emanated an aura of refinement in a classic black bandhgala.
Another highlight of the evening was the lilting fusion music by Rajhesh Vaidhya on the veena and Navin Iyer on flute. They enthralled the crowd by playing a good mix of songs that ranged from yesteryear hits to recent songs from the bride's and groom's movies.
The food was predominantly South Indian and was thoroughly enjoyed by all the guests. Served traditionally on plantain leaves, the highlights included pal kozhakattai, little cutlets, sevai, fried rice and sambhar rice among other delicacies. On the whole, the star-studded evening was something every guest who attended the wonderful wedding would cherish.

How we met: We studied together at Dubai. Since. we were a year apart in college we did not know each other until we were introduced to each other through a pool of common friends. After knowing each other for a while through our constant hang outs and partie s with friends, we started dating. We were not sure whether this relationship would work out. but then love took over. We soon decided that we were going to spend the rest of our lives together. and finally after five year: of dating we got married on this year's (2014) Valentine's Day.

Destination: We were not too sure thai we would be going for our honeymoon immediately after the wedding because our wedding date was fast approaching and we did not live in the same country (he was settled in New Delhi and I was in Abu Dhabi, UAE). Also. we were not too keen on going for a honeymoon all by au rse Ives as we were used to always hanging around with friends when we were dating. So the whole idea of going as a couple sounded too boring for us! Luckily. one of our common friends who got married recently too was keen on going with us. The friends had decided on Australia and New Zealand as the destinations and we both agreed upon it too. 
Where we stayed: Our ftirst destination was Queenstown in New Zealand, where we stayed at Crowne Plaza which had a splendid view of Lake Wakatipu. After three days of exploring Queenstown, we travelled 9 hours by road in our personal rented car to our next destination, Hokitika. At Hokitika, we stayed at Remu Lodge, which was actually a private house converted into a lodge and had just four rooms to rent We were lucky to get rooms in this lodge due to last minute cancellations and it was totally worth it as this place too mad a mind blowing view. The best part about the South Island of New Zealand was that every place had a fabulous view; even the sheep's and cows in the farms looked scenic for that matter. Our next city was Sydney where we stayed at The Darling on Darling Harbour. This hotel was in a complex known as The Star which had a shopping mall consisting of many high-end brands, a big food court and a huge Casino. So there was a lot to explore in the hotel itself. After Sydney, we went to the Hamilton Island, which is a privately owned Island and part of The Great Barrier Reef. We stayed at the Reef View Hotel in Hamilton Island. After experiencing some fine luxury living on this private island, we went to Gold Coast, where we stayed at yet another luxury hotel in Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort and Spa. 
Our Favovurite meal. I am a sea food lover and can have sea food almost every day and every meal. Both New Zealand and Australia had some amazing sea food to serve at most of the local eating joints that we visited. It was the opposite case with my husband as he is a pure vegetarian. But luckily for him, most of the places had vegetarian items on their menu. One particular place that we loved was Fergburger in Queenstown which had burgers that had interesting names like Bun Laden and The Godfather. This place had the tastiest burgers anyone of us had ever had. Even my 'pure vegetarian' husband was impressed with it. Drinks of choice: There were a lot of locally produced wine and beer options available in both the countries. Our favourites were Monteith's Crushed Apple Cider beer and Brancott Estate Sauvignon Blanc, both of which were locally produced in New Zealand. Apart from that, we loved having Malibu now and then. 
Most gorgeous view: On first day of our trip, we visited the Skyline Gandola in Queenstown and there was this buffet restaurant serving some really nice gourmet food and the view was just out of this world. The snow covered mountains bordering Lake Wakatipu looked spectacular. I am absolutely out of words to describe this view. It was a view worth seeing and feeling! 
Sweet find: When in Australia, you definitely need to do some Ugg boots shopping. Ugg is used as generic name for all the sheepskin boots that are produced locally and hence there 
is nothing such as fake or originalUggs, these just come from different manufacturers which is why you will see a difference in styles. You will find every third shop in Sydney and Surfers Paradise selling these boots. Do not to miss out on these! 

Our honeymoon in one word: Marvellous! We are so glad we decided our honeymoon with our couple friend. It wouldn't have been any fun without them. And the funny part was that many of our other friends who were single though it was a weird idea going on a honeymoon with another couple, but then when we told them all the pros of going on a honeymoon with another couple, they too had to agree! 
Don't miss: In New Zealand, do not forget to hire your own car and drive around the South Island. You will come across the most beautiful views you may have ever seen or will see. Most of our journey within New Zealand was by road and totally worth the 25 hours that we spent driving around. While in Hamilton Island, don't forget to hire your personal buggy to explore all the corners of the island on your own for some beautiful views.

How to get there: We flew from New Delhi to Sydney via Singapore in Qantas. There are regional air carriers like Jet Star and Qantas Link to move around in different cities of Australia and New Zealand. 
Don't leave home without: Bug spray! You will come across a lot of insects when you visit Milford Sound in Queenstown. and New Zealand being a very expensive country, you might not want to spend a huge amount on just a bug spray. If you happen to be a pure vegetarian. don't forget a carry a nice back up of 'Ready to Eat' meals as you never know when you might be stranded on Hamilton Island (we were stuck on the Island for 3 days due to tropical cyclones that resulted in cancellation of all flights to and from the island). More money than budgeted as you might end up stuck on an island due to cyclones!
