It's worth looking because it might be you!
This challenge will last for the whole month of January 2016 - anything goes as long as it's Christmas - it doesn't have to be a card, you can link any project as long as it's Christmas!
Welcome to the fourth year of CHNC challenge extra. When I started these monthly challenges I had no idea how popular they would become. I am so grateful for all the support I have received over the last two years and I hope that this coming year will be one when we see many lovely Christmas creations shared by you talented crafters. Thank you for another month of fabulous festive entries - I think 680 entries must be a record! What a wonderful response - thank you so much. Now that Christmas 2015 is over, please don't put away your Christmas stash - make as many cards etc as you can now to avoid panic later in the year. Perhaps you can make it a New Year's resolution.
Once again this year, all of these monthly challenges are being generously sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps - a winner will be randomly chosen using random.
Bugaboo Stamps are proud to sponsor this challenge - they are offering $21 of digital stamps to the randomly selected winner.
Everything That You Ever Wanted to Know About Bugaboo Stamps: A Short Essay
As if raising five children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge, Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadian toes into the world of papercrafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. That was two years ago. Today Bugaboo Stamps is one of the leading companies in digital images, and we're still growing! From seriously snarky to sugary sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create your paper projects. Jodie works very hard to provide New Releases and Freebies every week!
If your taste runs to rubber (and you know who you are), you can find Bugaboo Stamps at Totally Stampalicious. And finally, join the Bugaboo Stamps DT for weekly challenges at Catch the Bug.
Jennifer Scull:
Hi! My name is Jennifer and I have this little 'thing' with coffee.... and ribbons....and papers.... you see I LOVE them all SO VERY MUCH! I have been married to my college sweetheart for almost 30 years and we have 3 wonderful sons. but all that guyness in the house leads me to need a room of my very own devoted just to crafting! I enjoy using all kinds of vintage trinkets and treasures on my projects, as well as little things you find around the house, so you never know what is going to appear on something I make! but there will always be a shabby touch, that is for sure! :)
I am so very happy to be part of the Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Extra Team! we are going to have a fabulous time here. come along and join the fun! :)
Julie Thornton:
My name is Julie and I absolutely adore paper crafts. My husband is a great supporter of my crafting and has even asked me to make things for his work. I have two sons who are both in college.
I have been crafting most of my life. I started counted cross stitch when I was in middle school and have dabbled in all kinds of crafts from flower arranging, scrapbooking to painting. I started making my own greeting cards while I was in college as a way to save money. Oh if only making cards was a money saver nowhahahaha! It is so much fun to pick out papers, ribbons, sentiments and embellishments to make a card for someone special.
Christmas cards are my favorite cards to make and I make them all year long. I am super excited to be a part of this design team.
Marie Bingaman:
Hi! My name is Marie. I'm a 44 year old mother to 2 teenage girls, and I've been married to my best friend for 10 years. He "graciously" indulges me in my crafting passion...so much so that he built me a room to hold all my stuff! My favorite thing to do is make Christmas cards, so being on this design team is perfect for me! It also helps that I LOVE Bugaboo images! Thank you to Hazel for taking me on, and I look forward to sharing and learning with everyone over the next 6 months!
I am so excited to have three new members joining my Design Team
I want to thank everyone who applied to be on the DT.
I am so sad though that Brenda and Lorraine don't feel able to take on another six months commitment with the team - we will miss you both, but hope that you will sometimes join us with your lovely Christmas creations. I'm pleased to say that other members of the team are staying on for another six months. Renate will be coming back to the team in March when she has finished her studies.
