Karva Chauth is observed as the most important fast in India. On this day women ask god for welfare and bright future of their husbands. In this fast women can't eat or drink anything, and the fast is over after moon sight. Women need to prepare many things in advance, they buy karva, matthi, heena and other necessary items for pooja. In our history Gaur Mata was made with clay and it was worshiped but now a days people have become lazy so they buy Idol Goddess Parwati. 

On this day women are dressed well wearing saares mostly of red colors. When moon sights women see its reflection in water which is filled in thali. Water is later offer to moon and women ask for long life of their husbands. The seen of celebration of karva chauth is very beautiful.
