Dr.Divya Nair is a fine example of a Malayalee woman holding an Acting and healing professions  together. While acting in TV serials and cinema, she manages a Homeopathy specialist Hospital in Trivandrum Kowdiar. Only ten days per month are set aside for acting assignments, otherwise she is available in Hospital with another doctor and staff.

   Beauty related Homeo medicines are her speciality, so celebrities from movie and Television Industry are main clientiele.     Born at kallada in Kollam District, Father G.V Nair  is an Oman Arab Bank Executive and  Mother Sasikala is a HouseWife. she is the youngest of three children, with two elder sisters, Eldest is also a doctor.
Dr Divya enjoys travelling and reading, but is not selective in reading, anything will do.

She won Asianet Best New Face (Female) award in 2013. Her other serials are Riju Nairs "ToovalSparsham". In V.V Wilfred "Mattoru KaalVari" movie she did a noticable role. She got the opportunity to sing title song of "Sthree oru Devatha".  
    Before starring in TV serials, she had acted in two of Mohanlal's movies; in "MahaSamudram" as a Dumb girl, picturised in "Rasathanthram" as Mohanlal's sisters youth. Both roles were noticed. While acting in movies she had just completed Plus Two in education. In those times she was an Idol in TV channels, was also known as a Singer and Actress. After seeing Divya in Jeevan TV "Tommarrows VanamPadikal" music show, actress Chippi encouraged her to act as her sister in TV Serial "Nokketha Doorathu Kannum Nattu"
