Last Sunday, Pam posted about a suspected mailbox. On my walks in this Downey neighborhood, I've seen this unusual mailbox, so I thought I would post it today. It seems the owner wants to spare the postperson the hassle of opening the gate and coming onto their property. And so, each day, it's "Down the hatch" with their mail.
