The guide incorporates outline systems and plan cases for steel plate shear dividers in both high-seismic and R = 3 applications. The outline control has been produced as per ASCE 7-05 (Minimum Design Loads for Buildings and Other Structures), ANSI/AISC 360-05 (Specification for Structural Steel Buildings), and ANSI/AISC 341-05 (Seismic Provisions for Structural Steel Buildings). Diagnostic and limit outline techniques exhibited in this plan guide can be used with either LRFD or ASD stack blends. Just the LRFD technique is utilized as a part of the plan cases.
